Ideas for raising money for a great cause?

My father just passed away on November 9th, 2007. He wanted his body donated to medical research, and although due to a few things that was unable to happen. Living in a small town, I want to do something to raise money for Medical research, to send to the hospital where my father went. I want to make something though, that would appeal to people of all ages, like bracelets or necklaces. I need help, and would love to do this. Please help. I would like this to kind of be like a survey of teens to elders, to men and women.
