Does anybody have proof that animal testing is needed to test out new medicines for humans?

I'm doing a speech, and I need to know some websites and reasons why animal testing is needed in medical research.

Thanks!

Does anybody have proof that animal testing is needed to test out new medicines for humans?
In order for Pharmokinectics to be tested, they need to be inoculated into living cells that carry a certain pathology. First, you can't test dead cells. So, you need live cells that undergo metabolism. Human beings do not wish to submit themselves to long trials of drugs. Which in case you didn't know, it takes a new drug an average of 10 years to hit the market. This is all do to testing, etc.

In order to test a drug for a specific pathology, a live cell has to be inoculated with the disease that the drug is targeting. What human being is going to allow disease to be pumped into their body to test meds? None.
Reply:Homeopathic drugs are tested only on human beings . So they do not cure any diseases. Homeopathic drugs need no prescription. They do not have expiry dates. Their therapeutic and toxic doses are the same.

This proves animal tests are mandatory.
Reply:I completely agree, that was very well voiced. I need to add that God gave us dominion over the animals. That may not help in your speech, but it is a good thing to think about.
Reply:well it's kind of tough. we can't test them on people if we don't know how they're going to react.
