How many medical students wants to be plastic surgeon?

I am working research paper. however I have no idea that how many medical students want to be plastic surgeon. is there any good data for that?

How many medical students wants to be plastic surgeon?
I guess the only way you can judge that is by Match data, but then that's only the number of people who actually attempted to get into a plastics residency (which doesn't count the people who at one point wanted to go into plastics, or the people who wanted to but weren't strong enough to realistically apply).
