What's the difference between primary care and research???

I'm interesting in going into pre-med in college (I've got plenty of time, i'm only a junior in HS) and i was doing some research on the best medical schools. there was 2 different results, the best ones for primary care and the best ones for research. what's the difference between them? what do you think is the best med school?

What's the difference between primary care and research???
Primary care is doctor, while research is scientist who researches medicine, techniques, etc.,

And also, if you want to do primary care, get your bachelors in something like biology, if you want to do research, get your bachelors in bioengineering.

bioengineering is tougher, biology is easier.

Don't forgetest answer, thanks!
Reply:If you really want to deal with human beings and solve their problems, you want to go into primary care. You will probably end up as a family physician or something similar.

If you just like the science of medicine and the study (or you can't stand real people) then you want research. You work on the cures for diseases, but you have little contact with people.

Of course you could try forensic medicine, then you get to deal with people, but they are dead and don't argue with you.
